Care Guide For Embroidered, DTF-Printed & HTV Garments
To keep your custom garments looking fresh and vibrant, follow these simple care instructions:
General Care Instructions - For All Garments
Wash inside out: Always turn garments inside out before washing to protect the design from friction and direct contact with other fabrics.
Cold wash only: Wash in cold water (30°C or below) to prevent damage to the embroidery, print, or vinyl.
Use gentle detergents: Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the design.
Do not overload the washing machine: Overloading increases friction, which can damage the garment and the design.
Drying Instructions - For All Garments
Air dry for best results: Lay garments flat or hang them to dry to maintain the quality of the design. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause fading.
Avoid tumble drying: Heat from dryers can shrink the garment, damage embroidery, and peel vinyl or prints. If tumble drying is unavoidable, use the lowest heat setting.
Ironing Instructions - For All Garments
Do not iron directly on the design: If ironing is necessary, place a clean cloth or parchment paper over the design to avoid direct contact with the heat.
Use low heat settings: Excessive heat can distort embroidery and damage prints or vinyl.
Beanie Hats
Hand Wash Cold: Wash gently with mild detergent to prevent damage to the embroidery.
Air Dry: Lay flat to dry to maintain its shape and quality.
Do Not Iron: Avoid ironing to preserve the integrity of the embroidery.
Embroidered Garments
Avoid scrubbing the embroidered area.
Hand washing is recommended for delicate embroidery.
DTF Printed Garments
Do not use fabric softeners, as they can weaken the print over time.
Avoid prolonged soaking to prevent damage to the print.
HTV Garments
Avoid pulling or stretching the design area excessively.
Check the vinyl for any lifting edges before washing; if present, gently press it back with low heat using an iron and parchment paper.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure your custom garments stay in excellent condition for years to come.
